Dead taper center, or dead taper center with missing tip, in the case of accurately repeating positioning, as a positioning reference, they can improve the clamping accuracy and reduce the vibration during the processing on the milling, lathing and grinding machine. The Morse dead centers with half-missing carbide tip (carbide or non-carbide optional) can leave much more  cutting space around the machined parts. The accuracy can reach 0.01mm under zero load.
