Stamping die ejector punches, applied in stamping die, also called punch pin or ejector punch, are installed on the stamping die to make continuous blanking operation and, as a result, make the separation or plastic deformation of the processed materials so as to obtain the required finished or semi-finished products.

Usual materials: The punch is generally made of high speed steel, spring steel and tungsten steel. High speed steel punch and spring steel punch are the most commonly used. The high speed steels are Cr12MoV, SKD11, SKD61, SKH51, ASP23, etc. The spring steel materials are SUJ2, GCr15, etc.

Tungsten punch has a high demand for the material toughness, the technical threshold and the production cost. The raw materials are mainly imported. The heat treatment also needs a high-tech level, which should considerate quenching and tempering temperature and ultra-cold duration according to the specific use environment. Tungsten steel material is generally used in high-level blanking and shearing die. Because of its high cost, and the need of complex machining technology, the use of tungsten steel punch is a little limited to some degree, it’s not widely used.
